Most of us dread going to the dentist. It’s exhausting. Often uncomfortable and painful. I don’t know anyone personally that’s excited or enthusiastic about going to the dentist. It’s simply not fun. But what If I told you that there were ways to prolong visits to the dentist, and perhaps, avoid going all together.

I have a secret to tell you. A cat to let out of the bag. I haven’t been to the dentist in over 15 years now. Believe it or not, it’s been quite simple and easy for me. I did have a friend who is a dentist assess my teeth a few years ago and do a thorough oral examination of my teeth and gums, and she said everything looked great. So I’m not so crazy after all and what I am doing appears to be working.

How I’ve Managed To Avoid The Dentist For 15+ Years

Health has always been a fascination to me. How to be healthy, stay healthy and continue to support my body in that healthy state. I recognized at one point that a lot of dental practices and oral care products aren’t so beneficial. Toothpaste with a mix of chemicals that make your mouth, gums and teeth feel squeaky clean but also bombarded by chemicals.

These chemicals negatively influence the pH of your mouth as well as the bacterial balance of what is known as your oral biome. Think of your oral biome like your gut biome. There’s a bacterial balance in your gut that is necessary to maintain homeostasis and health. There’s a bacterial balance in your mouth that is essential for maintaining the health of your teeth, gums and mouth as a whole also.

This is important to know because most mouth wash products, toothpaste products and teeth whitening products absolutely destroy the oral biome..

The Combination Of Bad Oral Health Products & Diet..

To complicate the problem further, we have a combination of bad, low quality, chemically created oral care products that harm the pH and bacterial balance of the mouth as well as a diet that isn’t supportive of tooth and gum health.

A diet rich in sugars, acids and void of minerals is going to deteriorate and destroy the teeth faster than anything. These sugars and acids sitting on the teeth cause harm, and then we reach for our big brand toothpaste to wash this sugar or acid off the teeth and guess what happens? We remove the sugar or acid but then leave our teeth with a chemical residue that doesn’t allow for the natural probiotics to flourish in our mouth’s as they should. Not to be confused with fluoride btw, and there’s a bigger story there also.

There Are TWO Types Of Fluoride

What most people do not realize is that there are two types of fluoride. There’s calcium fluoride and sodium fluoride. We are told that ‘fluoride’ is good for our teeth and dental health, but is it really? Calcium fluoride is a mineral that is found naturally occurring in our earth. Sodium fluoride on the other hand is a chemical byproduct of aluminum production! That’s right. Aluminum, the metal.

I’m hoping that you can guess which form of ‘fluoride’ is actually beneficial for your teeth and which is not. Calcium fluoride in trace amounts does support the health of our teeth. Sodium fluoride on the other hand which is a chemical byproduct of aluminum (a toxic heavy metal) production process.

Not only was sodium fluoride the “healthy mineral” that was added to toothpastes and city water, starting in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the 1940’s.

In other words, there is natural fluoride (calcium fluoride) from the earth and there is chemically created, aluminum byproduct fluoride known as sodium fluoride.

What To Ask Your Dentist Or Orthodontist?

The next time you see your dentist or talk to one ask them this question..

Which fluoride is best for our teeth? Sodium fluoride or calcium fluoride?

If they look puzzled or do not know how to answer the question, or say both. It might be time to find a new dentist, or do what I do! Avoid the dentist successfully for over 15+ years now.

My Dental Health Protocol That WORKS

I have a dental protocol that I have been using for almost two decades now that has kept my teeth in tip top shape. They are strong, healthy, not sensitive and can crack pistachio shells open by sheer force! I have certain practices that I have utilized to keep my teeth mineralized, healthy and strong.

Step 1: I brush and floss my teeth often. But this is a no brainer! This is what we’re supposed to do. One big difference here is that I brush not with toothpaste but instead with Boku Smile bites. This product is a carefully formulated tablet meant to replace toothpaste. It helps to balance the biome of the mouth. It contains essential oils such as frankincense that kill harmful bacteria in the mouth. It also contains probiotics that help to restore the oral biome to a healthy manner. I highly recommend switching to boku smile bites from toothpaste. The combination of essential oils, probiotics and activated charcoal really make this product spectacular. Step 2: Scrape Your Tongue!

Scraping your tongue with a tongue scraper is great for preserving the health of your mouth as a whole. Unhealthy bacteria collects on the tongue and will then get on your teeth from there, causing issues. Tongue scraping also helps to keep your breath fresh! You can get a tongue scraper on amazon by clicking here. You simply scrape your tongue down and out of your mouth and throw anything from your tongue off into the sink and rinse off the tongue scraper.

Step 3: Balance Your Minerals!

The balance of minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium and calcium are incredibly important in the body. This is important for your overall health but also for the accumulation of calcium in places it should not be. Unhealthy calcium accumulation looks like plaque and tartar on the teeth. Calcification within the arteries, which restricts blood flow to the heart causing more serious issues. Another example of unhealthy calcium accumulation is the body carrying calcium to the joints and displacing it in the form of arthritis or bone spurs. This is why having consistent minerals in your diet is important.

Boku Superofods has a liquid mineral tincture called “Boku Daily Mineral Drops” which includes 56 trace minerals from the dead sea. This includes magnesium, potassium, sodium and more. You simply add a dropper full of these minerals to water and consume them. These trace minerals are pivotal to the health and proper movement of calcium in the body. I also take Radiate 21 capsules and let the capsules melt in my mouth. The essential oils, sangre de grado and other herbs in this formula support the health of my gums, teeth and mouth as well. This really helps to keep my mouth healthy and immune as a whole!

Step 4: Scrape Your Teeth With Neem Stick

Neem leaves and sticks are used in India for dental care. It’s nature’s toothbrush, in a stick form. It’s quite incredible really. In India, people not only ingest neem (which is one of the ingredients in Radiate Immunity) but they take neem sticks and scrape them along their teeth as a sort of stick-toothbrush.
