Water is an essential element for health as it hydrates your body. The quality of the water that you consume determines how hydrated you are and how well your body expels toxins. Water plays such a pivotal role in digestive health, brain health, gut health and so much more. Here are the 5 different types of water you can drink from the least to the most healthy.
1. Tap water: Avoid like the plague. It is full of chlorine, fluoride, traces of heavy metals, traces of pharmaceutical drugs, pathogens and more. It's dead, stagnant, sterile water.
2. Bottled/purified water: This water is typically 51% 'spring' or 'purified' water with the other 49% being tap water. It's slightly higher on the quality scale but still not that great.
3. Distilled water: Good, better, but not great. This removes a lot of junk from the water except for VOC's (volatile organic compounds) which you want to remove.

0:01
free in this video today you're going to
0:03
learn the five different forms of water
0:05
from the least to the most healthy forms
0:07
of water that you can drink and before
0:10
we get into that you know there's so
0:12
many options you can go to the store and
0:14
fill up your own jugs you can get
0:16
different pites that claim to filter
0:18
everything including fluoride from home
0:20
from a little pitcher you can also get
0:22
different devices that will add hydrogen
0:25
or ozone or different elements to your
0:27
water or structure it or make it special
0:29
or unique in a certain way now I can go
0:31
on and on and on and in my lifetime I've
0:33
literally utilized in the neighborhood
0:35
A5 to $20,000 worth of water filtration
0:38
and water optimization technology to
0:40
improve my Independent Health with that
0:43
being said I've learned a lot along the
0:45
way so in this video I'm going to share
0:46
with you the five different types of
0:47
water and we'll be talking about the
0:49
purification and filtration part of
0:53
healthy water today but in another video
0:55
we'll explore the optimization and
0:57
things you can do to add to water to
0:59
make it healthier so before we jump in I
1:01
want to share with you a few things that
1:02
water does so you can understand the key
1:05
aspects of hydration and why it's so
1:07
important to say hydrated and what it
1:08
means to your health and your biology so
1:11
when we're born as a baby about 75% of
1:13
our body is water I mean look at a baby
1:16
you can see they're basically fat and
1:18
water their skin is healthy they look
1:20
they're just sitting there and they're
1:21
like they're full of water and fat and
1:23
they're very they're very viscous right
1:25
they're growing and their body sort of
1:27
grows into this uh adult human being and
1:30
as we age that de that hydration
1:32
declines and it creates dehydration and
1:35
by the time we die about 50% of our body
1:38
is water this is why elderly people get
1:40
wrinkles this is why people sort of
1:42
shrivel up our cells are losing water
1:44
our tissues are losing water our skin is
1:46
losing water uh and it's a visible thing
1:48
we can see as we age but internally it
1:51
does the same thing it's it's removing
1:54
the
1:55
lubrication that water grants us
1:57
internally to keep our joints fluid and
2:00
moving to keep our skin hydrated the
2:03
number one cause of headaches and
2:05
migraines is dehydration so simply
2:07
staying hydrated is a key element in
2:09
keeping uh migraines and and headaches
2:11
at Bay and there's so many other
2:14
benefits it like I said lubricates your
2:16
joints it aids in detoxification it
2:19
helps with nutrient and oxygen
2:22
Transportation it helps with uh skin
2:25
Health it helps with uh just all your
2:27
ligaments joints tissue it once again
2:29
it's a lubricant just like healthy fats
2:31
are lubricant water is a lubricant also
2:34
and it also helps to just simply protect
2:36
your organs and tissue uh your tissues
2:39
and it does this by creating a barrier
2:41
right your lymphatic system is comprised
2:44
of water so having enough water and
2:47
being properly hydrated is so very
2:50
important because it maintains your
2:52
health and it's an elemental form of
2:54
your health so oxygen and hydration are
2:57
two of the most important things along
2:58
with sleep that if you get your oxygen
3:01
your hydration and your sleep on track
3:04
you can actually get away with some
3:06
things in your diet and maybe not work
3:07
out as much because you're sleeping good
3:09
you're hydrating good and you're
3:11
breathing well and these things are
3:13
foundational elements of your health and
3:15
wellness routine so with that being said
3:18
let's jump into the different types of
3:19
water and how these can play into your
3:23
health and what's the least valuable
3:25
form of water and what's the healthiest
3:26
form of water that you can possibly
3:28
consume
3:34
okay so there are five different forms
3:36
of water that you can drink and I'm
3:38
really passionate about this subject
3:39
because I'm from Michigan and in
3:41
Michigan there's a lot of battles that
3:43
occur with water we constantly have
3:45
Nestle and other companies coming in and
3:47
draining the Great Lakes meanwhile
3:49
downstate in areas like Detroit and
3:51
Flint uh we have high levels of lead in
3:53
the water that are quite literally at
3:55
levels that are harmful to human health
3:58
and meanwhile we have some of the clean
3:59
water Upstate that is quite literally
4:01
just being taken by some of the largest
4:03
corporations in the world so for me
4:05
personally uh seeing the contrast there
4:08
just kind of planted a seed in my mind
4:10
and got me interested in water and
4:12
actually the hometown that I grew grew
4:14
up in uh a company called Wolverine
4:16
worldwide actually littered Scotch Guard
4:19
the spray that you spray on like leather
4:21
boots they literally dumped barrels of
4:23
this all over my hometown and it got
4:25
into the well water and it caused people
4:26
to get cancer and Aaron Brockovich from
4:29
the film actually came to my hometown
4:31
and talked about it and brought
4:33
attention and awareness to it so uh
4:34
these things are very close to me uh
4:36
another instance just real quick uh I
4:38
was living in Dearborn Michigan and I
4:40
got a letter from the city and the
4:42
letter just simply said the levels of
4:44
lead in the water that to in the tap
4:47
water are higher than the recommended
4:48
safe amount like they just laid this on
4:52
us and I I was filtering water and I've
4:53
always been filtering water to some
4:54
degree so uh both drinking water and
4:57
shower water which I'll get to in this
4:59
video but it's important to understand
5:01
that the water that you consume is quite
5:03
literally what hydrates or harms your
5:06
cells and the purity of that water is
5:09
determined it that's what determines the
5:12
health of your cells so cellular
5:14
hydration is a huge aspect because once
5:16
again the water is what carries
5:18
nutrients and oxygens to your cells but
5:21
the water is also what removes waste
5:23
from your cells so that energetic
5:25
exchange of giving your body giving your
5:27
cells what it needs and removing things
5:29
that it doesn't need
5:30
water plays a key pivotal role in that
5:32
and the healthier that water the better
5:35
it can do its job the better it it moves
5:38
things in and out of the body so let's
5:40
get into the five different forms of
5:41
water the first form of water and the
5:43
absolute worst form of water you could
5:44
possibly drink is tap water that's
5:47
because tap water is filtered it's not
5:50
even really filtered it is filtered but
5:51
it's weakly filtered and I would say
5:54
more sanitized by a municipal water
5:57
source where they quite literally add
5:59
chlorine which is a corrosive agent a
6:01
known carcinogen a known cancer-causing
6:03
agent sure it's in small amounts but
6:05
over time you're drinking a lot of water
6:07
and you're exposing your skin to water
6:08
and you're cooking with water you're
6:10
getting water on your skin and in your
6:11
body and this is a known carcinogen
6:14
chlorine not only do they add chlorine
6:16
but they add fluoride which they claim
6:18
is for dental health but if you look
6:19
into the research on that there's
6:21
different forms of fluoride and sodium
6:23
fluoride which is a toxic chemical waste
6:26
byproduct is what's added to the
6:27
Municipal Water Supply so you have
6:30
chlorine fluoride the water in municipal
6:33
water sources is transported through
6:35
metal pipes in the older the city that
6:37
you live in the older these pipes the
6:39
more corrosion there is more oxidation
6:41
which leads to Metals getting in your
6:43
water which is why when I live in deborn
6:45
Michigan or places like Detroit which
6:47
have just as high of heavy uh lead heavy
6:50
metals like lead in the water as Flint
6:52
do but it doesn't get the air time and
6:54
whether you're in Chicago or LA or New
6:56
York or Cleveland or Atlanta or Houston
6:59
or Miami wherever you are if you live in
7:02
a city where the infrastructure has old
7:05
metal pipes that is Coro there's
7:08
corrosion that occurs over time and
7:09
that's going to get into your top water
7:10
so your tap water has added chemicals
7:13
heavy metals traces of pharmaceutical
7:15
drugs that are very um they're they're
7:18
Nano in terms of their you know size and
7:21
these get into the top water supply
7:23
because people flush these drugs or put
7:25
them down their toilet or in their sink
7:27
or whatever so you're literally getting
7:29
small doses of pharmaceutical drugs that
7:31
you do not want to take which are
7:32
influencing your biology which is
7:34
horrible so tap water is quite literally
7:38
the worst form of water that you can
7:39
possibly drink and I would avoid it like
7:41
the plague in fact I do when I go to
7:42
restaurants I don't drink tap water I
7:44
literally would rather be dehydrated
7:46
personally than to drink tap water
7:48
because I know I can rehydrate later
7:50
with healthy high quality water and
7:52
drinking tap water is something that I'm
7:54
literally putting directly into my cells
7:55
so it's a huge no no for me the second
7:58
form of water that is a little bit
8:00
higher on the totem pole but not quite
8:02
necessarily super high quality is
8:04
bottled water or purified water you'll
8:06
see this at the store different brands
8:08
like Nestle or you know these different
8:10
spring Brands will bottle their water
8:12
and some of them will say spring water
8:14
some of them will say purified water it
8:16
doesn't really matter what the label
8:18
says um the only real water in the store
8:20
that is healthier is distilled water but
8:22
it's still in plastic so I would
8:24
personally avoid it but when you have
8:26
these bottled forms of water what you
8:28
have to keep in mind is that if it's
8:29
spring water for example that spring
8:31
water can be 51% tap water or excuse me
8:34
51% spring water and
8:36
49% tap water and they can label it
8:39
spring water so even the spring water
8:42
that you buy at the store is not really
8:44
spring water and even the purified water
8:46
you buy at the store may not be fully
8:48
purified because they have a specific
8:51
ratio that they can utilize similar to
8:53
organic produce USDA organic produce has
8:55
more than 20 different pesticides that
8:57
can be used on organic produce in
8:59
socalled organic so I would caution you
9:02
from buying bottled or you know uh
9:05
purified Spring Water any forms of water
9:08
and plastic at the store I would just
9:09
simply avoid it because these forms of
9:11
water although they might be slightly
9:13
better they probably only going to be
9:14
50% better than the tap water and that's
9:17
still not that great so the next form of
9:20
water we have up the totem pole is
9:21
distilled water distilled water is
9:23
actually pretty good uh however it it's
9:26
not the most ideal and I'll tell you why
9:29
so distillation is essentially a process
9:31
where you put water into this chamber
9:33
and it's mimicking nature so in nature
9:35
you have the sort of this process of
9:37
evaporation which is the humidity Rising
9:40
uh and then you have condensation which
9:42
is rain right so that evaporation and
9:45
condensation process in nature is
9:47
actually a distillation process that
9:49
evaporation process is distillation so
9:51
evaporation is simply it's a it's a
9:53
heating process where you heat up water
9:55
the heated up water the cloud water
9:57
let's just call it Cloud water is what's
9:59
extracted and then that waste water is
10:01
removed that cloud water is the
10:03
distilled water now this is a good
10:05
process for purifying and filtering and
10:07
removing contaminants from water however
10:09
it does not I repeat it does not remove
10:12
vo's volatile organic compounds these
10:16
are a class of chemicals that will
10:18
evaporate into that distilled water and
10:20
you can distill water 2 3 four times but
10:24
then you have to sit there all day
10:25
making your water and it just gets a
10:26
little bit ridiculous uh because you're
10:29
you're yeah you can filter and make it
10:30
more pure and more clean however you're
10:32
still not filtering Volo organic
10:34
compounds you might filter more of them
10:35
by distilling two three four times but
10:37
you literally have to make the water
10:38
over and over and over which is why I
10:40
don't like the berky systems or these
10:42
like gravity fed systems you have unless
10:44
they're for survival situations to me
10:46
they're very useless they take up a ton
10:48
of counter space and you have to
10:49
actually like make the water like who
10:51
wants to make their water nature just
10:53
gives us water so that makes the most
10:55
sense to me moving a bit higher up so so
10:58
far you have tap water or purified water
11:00
and then distilled water these are
11:02
moving up right the second highest
11:04
quality form of water that you can
11:05
possibly get and this is probably going
11:07
to be the most feasible for most of you
11:09
is reverse osmosis water now you have to
11:12
understand that reverse osmosis water is
11:14
similar or close to distillation in that
11:17
it filters and removes a lot of the
11:18
contaminants that distilled water does
11:20
but it also removes voc's volatile
11:23
organic compounds which is once again a
11:24
class of chemicals that distillation
11:26
does not remove so I like reverse osm
11:29
because how it works is it utilizes a
11:32
pressure it actually so osmosis which
11:34
our body and our cells utilize osmosis
11:37
to get water into our cells so our cells
11:40
are round like this and osmotic
11:44
pressure opens up the cell which
11:46
minerals are the electrical conduit that
11:49
open up the cells which allow water to
11:51
get into the cell so our bodies
11:53
understand and utilize the process of
11:55
osmosis for hydration already now
11:58
reverse osmosis is taking that osmotic
12:01
pressure scenario where water and
12:03
minerals are the two components we need
12:05
to open up the cell and create what is
12:07
known as intra in int meaning inside
12:10
intracellular hydration and what reverse
12:14
osmosis does is it reverses that process
12:16
and instead of that pressure going into
12:19
something it pulls it out of something
12:21
so with osmosis that pressure is opening
12:24
the cell wall and it's getting water
12:25
into the cell and that's a good thing
12:27
now reverse osmosis which is a brilliant
12:29
idea if you think about it it takes that
12:31
same process it reverses the flow it
12:33
creates pressure in the opposite
12:34
direction and that pressure goes through
12:37
a semi-permeable layer and it removes
12:40
the contaminants so we're talking
12:42
chlorine fluoride heavy metals traces of
12:46
pharmaceutical drugs volatile organic
12:48
compounds and any other contaminants
12:50
we're talking even like living
12:52
contaminants bacteria mold uh living
12:55
pathogens things like that as well so
12:57
both man-made dangers and nature Made
13:00
dangers reverse osmosis is a filtration
13:03
process that applies certain amount of
13:06
pressure to that using osmotic pressure
13:09
in reverse to remove these contaminants
13:12
from the water and on the outside gives
13:13
you pure water now the one objection
13:15
that people have with reverse osmosis
13:17
water is that it's taking out the
13:19
minerals and this is bad because water
13:21
has minerals and our body needs Minerals
13:23
Well that may be true however if you
13:26
want to have the cleanest and purest
13:28
water that you can possibly have reverse
13:30
osmosis water filtration technology is
13:32
by far the most developed and advanced
13:34
form of water filtration technology on
13:37
the market now there's different levels
13:39
and there's different terms of there's
13:40
different types of quality of reverse
13:42
osmosis water and there's reverse
13:44
osmosis that actually the one that I
13:46
like and personally use actually
13:48
remineralizes so it goes through the
13:50
reverse osmosis process and then it
13:52
allows minerals to pass through the
13:53
barrier and that company is called Oma
13:56
Organics now they have a filter and I'll
13:59
actually put on the screen here it was
14:00
funny my brother in Florida he had I
14:03
gave him a filter uh for under his sink
14:04
and this was many years ago from a
14:06
company um and I don't even want to say
14:08
their name cuz I don't want to give them
14:09
bad press but it's the same company of
14:11
the water picture I showed you I use it
14:13
as like a secondary filter for my
14:14
Upstream filtered water I filter
14:15
multiple times and uh my brother was
14:17
like hey I need a replacement can you
14:19
send me the link to that and I was like
14:20
sure and then I thought about and I was
14:22
like you know what I didn't know about I
14:24
didn't really understand Oma Organics
14:25
water filtration until I got deep into
14:29
understanding the filtration process the
14:30
different mechanisms uh the there's
14:32
different uh filters within the Oma
14:35
filter like kdf that I didn't even know
14:37
about I wasn't aware about that these
14:39
remove like these metals or these traces
14:41
of pharmaceutical drugs or these
14:42
chemicals or whatever it may be or the
14:44
charcoal or the carbon or these
14:46
different things so having not only
14:47
reverse osmosis but different types of
14:49
filters that the water is traveling
14:51
through while it's being filtered will
14:53
remove these different contaminants so I
14:56
said you know what that old one it's
14:58
good but but get the Oma one it's better
15:00
and it was funny and I'll put it up on
15:01
the screen here the old filter this one
15:04
right here was
15:06
$600 the tall filter was $600 for three
15:09
filters and Oma Organics filter was
15:13
$290 and there's a discount right now
15:16
which I'll put below so it's literally
15:18
half the price and as you can see the
15:20
filter the taller filter was it's
15:24
actually smaller because the depth or
15:28
not the depth but the uh the girth of it
15:30
is smaller and the Oma filter even
15:32
though it's a little bit shorter it's
15:33
it's a wider filter so you get more
15:36
filter that the water goes through and
15:38
when the water goes through more
15:39
filtration material it's getting
15:40
filtered better right if you have three
15:42
filters or six filters you're going to
15:44
get more out of six filters especially
15:46
if they're the same size so the three
15:47
filters from Oma Organics were bigger
15:50
than the six and the six cost double the
15:54
amount so quite literally get this
15:56
you're going to get half not half sorry
15:59
you're going to get four times the
16:02
amount of filtration material for the
16:05
same price so the three filters because
16:07
they're wider and you're getting like
16:10
much more filtration material and it's
16:12
less than half the cost it's like 290
16:14
but then you get 10% off that so it's
16:15
like 270 versus over 600 you're
16:18
literally getting like three to four
16:20
times as much filtration material and
16:22
it's a higher quality filter so I
16:24
recommend reverse osmosis it's the best
16:26
for filter you can possibly get and I
16:27
recommend Oma Organics because they you
16:29
simply install this filter under your
16:31
sink and you just simply instead of
16:34
drinking from your tap water you drink
16:36
from the
16:37
small filter
16:40
instead now the other benefit with Oma
16:42
Organics is they have water filtration
16:44
for your shower so they have a different
16:46
a couple different shower filter options
16:48
this removes the chlorine uh it removes
16:50
the heavy metals the traits of the
16:52
pharmaceutical drugs it doesn't remove
16:54
the fluoride but it destabilizes the
16:55
molecular structure of it so that it's
16:57
inert and it's not Dam ding to your
16:59
cells or DNA so that's the form of water
17:02
I would recommend for almost anybody if
17:04
you live in the city if you live in the
17:06
suburbs uh even if you live in the
17:07
country because you have like pesticides
17:09
and even with well water you have um
17:11
different things like lime or calcium
17:13
deposits hardening minerals that when
17:15
you consume those those are going to
17:17
constrict and Harden your arteries and
17:19
calcify your body and agid you faster so
17:21
even to remove those is valuable so
17:23
whether you're in the country on a well
17:24
in the suburbs city city you know
17:26
anywhere in between having a filter is a
17:29
really good investment for your health
17:30
last but not least the best form of
17:32
water you can possibly get it's actually
17:34
free it's spring water now spring water
17:36
is unfortunately very hard to come by
17:38
and the reason I Shar this last is
17:39
because I have literally only been to
17:42
several Springs in my life and and I've
17:45
traveled all over the United States that
17:46
are operational that are high quality
17:49
that you know that the water is actually
17:52
um healthy right uh there's a few in
17:54
northern Michigan I've been to a few in
17:56
sort of like the Appalachian region in
17:58
North Carolina
17:59
um there's a few kind of in Georgia um
18:02
I'm sure there's some in the Northwest
18:03
there's got to be some in Colorado and
18:05
and you know Oregon Washington I'm sure
18:07
there's some up there but overall
18:09
there's not a lot left and unfortunately
18:11
a lot of these Springs have been capped
18:13
meaning they cover them and they just
18:14
restrict access uh but you can look at a
18:16
website called find apr.org and it's
18:19
kind of a fun treasure hunt and you can
18:21
just grab your bottles and go fill up
18:23
spring water that water is the
18:24
healthiest you can possibly get however
18:26
I caution people against this because if
18:29
you don't know if it's high quality
18:30
spring water if you don't know the
18:31
source uh if you don't have what is
18:32
known as a TDS meter which measures the
18:35
parts per billion uh essentially like
18:37
what's in the water besides water um
18:40
it's probably best to just simply get a
18:42
high quality filter at your home and
18:44
maybe do that as a hobby and something
18:46
that you kind of learn and develop over
18:47
time but with that being said I hope
18:49
this video was helpful and valuable to
18:51
you once again the five forms of water
18:53
least to highest quality is tap water is
18:55
the worst bottle purified is the second
18:57
worst distills okay kind of in the
18:58
middle and then you have reverse osmosis
19:00
which is good um it's really the best
19:03
you can get in your home uh and you know
19:06
I'll put links below like I said for Oma
19:07
Organics they're under the filter sinks
19:09
they're under the filter under the sink
19:11
filters and they shower filters so you
19:13
can remove chlorine fluoride all these
19:14
different things uh and get clean pure
19:17
water in your body and on your skin and
19:19
then the highest form of water is going
19:20
to be spring water now it's important to
19:22
keep in mind that if you're drinking
19:23
reverse oses water I personally take
19:25
electrolytes uh paleo Valley has these
19:28
good electrolytes called essential
19:29
electrolytes I'll put a link to this
19:31
below that's 15% off you can also take
19:33
radiate 21 it's a supplement that I
19:35
formulated it has lime lemon and orange
19:37
extract in it which gives you a wide
19:40
range of electrolytes along with uh 21
19:43
different um total Botanical in here for
19:45
gut health lymphatic health and EMF
19:48
protection mitigation and then the other
19:50
thing you could do if you want to like
19:51
optimize water uh you can just simply
19:53
get this is a hydrogen water machine it
19:56
adds uh one to three ppb parts per
20:01
billion of hydrogen into the water
20:03
depending on the time that you run it uh
20:05
but hydrogen it just helps to hydrate
20:06
your body better so it helps it helps
20:09
your mitochondria it's beneficial for
20:12
reducing sort of Aging it's good for
20:13
your gut microbiome it's great for
20:15
Mitigation Of EMS electromagnetic
20:17
frequencies or radiation so if you're on
20:19
technology cell phones Wi-Fi Bluetooth
20:21
5G and your work like I am it's good to
20:23
get hydrogen water in so this is a good
20:25
way once you have that high quality
20:27
water you can optimize it you can add
20:29
electrolytes um you can add hydrogen to
20:32
it you don't want to add the
20:32
electrolytes in here but you add the
20:34
hydrogen and then you pour it out drink
20:36
it or add electrolytes to it um just to
20:38
give your body those minerals because
20:39
those minerals are what open the
20:41
cellular membrane to create
20:42
intracellular hydration so that's it for
20:46
this video it's been a long one I hope
20:47
that you enjoyed it I hope that you are
20:49
choosing high quality health and
20:51
wellness options in your life especially
20:52
for your water for your hydration I'll
20:54
put some resources below some articles
20:56
to different um stories about bottled
20:58
water stories about water filtration
21:00
just some more research below so check
21:02
out the comment section because I'll put
21:03
links to the different things I talked
21:05
about and recommended more articles more
21:07
research and more information and if you
21:08
enjoyed this video please leave a
21:10

21:12
see you in the next video make sure to

21:15
cheers what are you do I'm getting
21:18
water oh there's a different tap for
21:23
that got it
