Whether you are doing pull-ups, chin-ups, dips or any other type of bodyweight exercise using the bars I recommend starting with your body weight but once you are advanced enough get a 10 pound weighted vest and begin working out with the vest on. The additional weight will make you work a little bit harder. Do the same workouts you've always done, just ad the vest. This will add a little more muscle mass and keep challenging your muscles to grow and evolve.
