History Buffs Are Still Scratching Their Heads After Hearing The “16 Lincoln & Kennedy Coincidences”

History buffs find history appealing, insightful and valuable as a lesson to learn from. The saying “History repeats itself” is all too often too familiar. We hear of tragedies of the past with human suffering and human error and think that it would never happen again, but it does, over and over again.

The human psyche is prone to making the same mistakes. Remembering that history repeats itself and that there is nothing new under the sun are very important things to remember.

Two of the most well known and well liked presidents in history have coincidental similarities that are tough to believe. The similarities are so similar they feel craftily orchestrated by an invisible hand. Once I read and discovered these coincidences from two presidents living a full hundred years apart I could not stop reading these to my friends and family. Such fascinating correlation that goes quite deep.

Not long after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, the list of seemingly amazing coincidences between the two men’s lives appeared, and it has been widely and continuously reprinted and circulated ever since.

Now, there is much to unpack here. The hundred year gaps between Presidents, their shooters and their successors. Astonishing. The correlation continues with names, the amount of characters in each name and the inverse relationship from one to the other.

Interesting note to add about all of this is that both Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. Why do you think that is? My opinion personally is that they were not the killers but were being placed in this position to have a scapegoat. This was all clearly a set up from people that had more power than Oswald and Booth. What do you think?

This holiday season it is important to remember that “Nothing is as it seems” and that “You are the mouse and they are the cat.” Remember that. There is always someone behind the scenes pulling bigger strings and we should always stop and question who that is and what their true intentions are.

This holiday season over the dinner table, I’m going to be reading these 16 Lincoln and Kennedy ‘coincidences’ to remind my family that history repeats itself, nothing is as it seems and that there is nothing new under the sun.
