Bamboo is one of the most versatile and useful materials on the planet, making it excellent for the production of any number of indispensable everyday goods.

Among the bamboo items on the market in today’s day and age are bamboo toothbrushes, bamboo book shelves, bamboo clothing such as hoodies and bamboo t-shirts, and even bamboo silica-infused superfoods.

Recently, a series of events showcased one of the areas in which humanity may need to change in order to help better protect the environment: the runs on toilet paper that began in March 2020.

The bad news is that humans need toilet paper, and a lot of it, over the course of their daily lives, and it is vulnerable to supply chain disruptions.

The good news is that eco-friendly companies are stepping up to meet the demand for tree-based toilet paper alternatives, including a company that makes “completely tree-free” toilet paper to to better serve the masses.

Bamboo Toilet Paper: Tree-Free, Biodegradable, and Septic Tank Safe

The company in question is Reel, which has been advertising heavily on social media to spread the word about its ingenious idea.

The company’s products are completely tree-free according to its website, and are made entirely of bamboo, one of the most sustainable and versatile substances on the planet.

“That means we get to dramatically reduce our ecological footprint and give you a way to feel super good about your TP-buying habits,” the company says.

According to the company, not all toilet paper fully dissolves in water, and many brands of toilet paper can cause serious problems for septic tanks and landfills.

This bamboo toilet paper is completely biodegradable to ensure that plumbing is not comprised and continues to work smoothly and soundly.

It is also sustainably produced, wrapped in recycled paper and uses eco-friendly material.

The company delivers direct to customers’ doors as well, in hopes of cutting down the pollution problem of non-biodegradable toilet paper.

The Mission Continues By Giving Back to Those in Need

Aside from the above benefits of the company, they also have undertaken a mission to help impoverished communities to receive better sanitation.
