So you’ve heard about dog shows and perhaps even cat shows, but did you know that there’s an annual duck show in Sydney, Australia?
The event has made headlines across social and alternative media in recent weeks, as pictures of our finely-dressed, feathered friends have captured the hearts and attention of countless readers.
The event, titled the ‘Pied Piper Duck Show,’ has been a part of Sydney’s Royal Easter Show for more than 30 years.
It’s organized by a man named Brian Harrington according to the website DailyTimes247.com.

The ducks each receive three outfits according to the article (you may want to stop reading now if you’re averse to bouts of extreme cuteness): one for the day, one for the evening, and one for, yes you’re reading this correctly, a wedding.
If this doesn’t make you want to get a pet duck some time in the near future, well, you’re problem someone who hates animals (kidding!).
As much as I love when dog owners dress up their “kids” (this is the outfit one of my good friends bought for his morkie pup), it’s hard to top how good these ducks look in their formal and wedding wear.
Not sure about you, but I think there should be a reality show based on these guys (and gals).
In case you may have forgotten, a male duck is called a drake, and a female duck is called a hen.
Together, they make the perfect pair.
I never get tired of watching ducks, and now I want a pair to walk the aisle in my wedding.
Some of the costumes have gotten quite creative over the years as well.
According to InspireFusion.com, Harrington dresses the ducks in the fashions of the day that are most popular.
We personally are huge fans of the ducks-dressed-as-humans concept, and would love to see more of these shows in here in the United States.
Thanks Mr. Harrington for sharing your artwork, and bravo to these beautiful drakes and hens for being good sports!
