Every once in a while you see a kid or hear a kid that just stands out as different than the rest. Today, we have one of those cases. Not a typical kid by any stretch of the imagination, Jeremiah Fennel is a creative and dynamic force to be reckoned with. He was recently featured as a guest on the Jennifer Hudson show. I overheard this clip being played while visiting my mom for mothers day weekend of a boy answering questions from an adult on some sort of interview show.
I was sitting on the couch and overheard the conversation and said “How old is that kid?” My mother responded ‘6 years old’ to which I replied ‘no way!’ I got up and went into the kitchen to watch the rest of the video.
Jeremiah Fennel is in fact six years old, he considers himself a journalist and is one of the most eloquent well-spoken children I have ever heard. He had Jennifer Hudson, famous actress and singer laughing and fully engaged! Along with the crowd.
He navigated the interview flawlessly and told the story of how he knew something was wrong with his mom, so he told Jennifer Hudson the story..
I had to save my mom’s life at the age of five years old. I knew something was wrong with her so I told my grandma to take her to the hospital. They said if she was there one minute later she would have died. – Jeremiah Fennell
Jeremiah later shares in the interview “I had a talk with God and said if you can bring my mom back, I’ll be the greatest son I can be.”
He later shares that the “Las Vegas Raiders” have a special place in his heart” and that his father is a senior citizen, to which the crowd laughs.
He shares that in the future he wants to be a journalist, sports broadcaster, entrepreneur and investor. Later in the interview he sings with Jennifer Hudson while standing and singing in unison. It’s one of the most heartwarming videos you will see, guaranteed! Take a watch!
