Kobe Bryant’s wife Vanessa has become a worldwide star ever since her marriage to the former NBA icon.
Kobe was 41 years old when he tragically passed away in a helicopter accident in Calabasas, California, and he left behind an incredible legacy both on and off the basketball court.
The couple had four daughters including Natalia, Capri, and Bianka, who all are now coping in life without their father. Bryant’s other daughter Gianna also passed away in the same crash.
Bryant’s legacy lives on through his daughters as well as his wife Vanessa.
The love between the pair remains strong, as evidenced by an Instagram anniversary post made by Vanessa recently of their early days together before their four daughters entered the picture.
“I love you forever, baby. Happy Anniversary @kobebryant #21,” Vanessa Bryant, 39, wrote in the caption of the picture above along with two heart emojis.
Natalia, Bryant’s 19-year-old daughter, has also been terribly affected by the tragedy that took her father and her sister. She posted the above photo on her Instagram page.
Kobe and Vanessa Bryant tied the knot in 2001.
They shared four daughters together: Natalia, 19; Gianna, who died at age 13 in a helicopter crash with her father and seven other people in January 2020; Bianka, 5; and Capri, who will turn 3 in June.
Last year marked what would have been the couple’s 20th wedding anniversary.
Vanessa Bryant spoke about the grief she has gone through since his death, and how she’s doing her best to keep moving forward in spite of the tragedy that has affected millions of people around the world.
“You just have to get up and push forward,” she explained to People.
“Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again.
But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”
