In the world of social media where everyone is connected, or at least appears to be on the surface, the sheer number of synchronicities or “invisible threads of connection” as Martin Luther King described it can be difficult to wrap our heads around.
Such synchronicities are quite common in real life as well.
Recently, one woman noticed something unbelievable on the fingers and arm of her server, and posted it to her TikTok page recently.
The woman, Sinéad Harnett, is a singer and songwriter from London who recently performed in the lights out festival in Brooklyn.
Her encounter with the server did not result in the usual small talk, but instead in one of the most unforgettable experiences of her life, as she discovered something remarkable about the eerily similar locations of artwork on her body as the man bringing her food that day.
The video of her discovery was viewed almost 33 million times.
“I’ve just met — you’re serving my food,” Harnett says in the TikTok, “and we thought this was a lot.”

As shown above, the pair have the same triangle tattoos on both fingers.
Each have a similar combination: an upright triangle with a line through it and an upside down triangle with a line through it.
These two symbols are oftentimes used to represent the air and earth elements, respectively, according to an article from Yahoo News.
The most shocking part of the video is definitely the final part, however.
Harnett and the waiter both lift up their forearms to reveal they have extremely similar feather tattoos in the same style.
Harnett’s is on her left arm and the waiter’s feather is on his right arm.
“I don’t know what’s happening,” Harnett said while also apologizing in the caption for being a bit out-of-sorts during the video. ‘
“Are you my twin, long lost…Are you half Irish?” she can be heard saying.
Harnett also had a hard time speaking, and mused that she may have been in The Matrix during the spooky yet exciting encounter.
“My speech was getting jumbled because WTF?” she wrote. “A man I’ve never met before who worked at the restaurant had the exact same tattoo as me!!!”
“People [don’t realize] the CHANCE of this happening is basically impossible,” one commenter said according to Yahoo.
