Today’s brain teaser is quite simple upon first glance, but it has been driving people crazy for years.

The puzzle has been posted but several different websites across social media and the Web, and is often attributed to an admissions test for first graders in Hong Kong, although this information has not been confirmed.

According to The Guardian, it may have come from legendary puzzle author David Bodycombe, known for his work on various Sudoku Challenge puzzle books.
