Elon Musk is one of the few figures of our time that turns ears when he speaks. As someone who owns one of the most innovative tech companies on the planet, the recent billionaire also acquired Twitter shaking up the world of social media. An outspoken advocate about Mars, social media, free speech and politics. The South African born immigrant is not afraid to share his thoughts and speak his mind, and people listen.

In 2021, Musk gave a rare interview discussing his newborn. “Well, babies are just eating and pooping machines, you know?” he said. “I think babies are super cool and really people need to have more babies because, it sounds obvious, but if people don’t have enough babies, humanity will disappear.” He makes a valid point. He makes no quarrels with growing the population himself. He is the father of ten children himself, that’s a lot of babies running around!
Musk Wants To Begin Sending Humans To Mars by 2024:

“We’re establishing cargo flights to Mars that people can count on,” he said in June 2016. “The Earth-Mars orbital rendezvous is only every 26 months, so there’ll be one in 2018; there will be another one in 2020. And I think if things go according to plan, we should be able to launch people probably in 2024 with the arrival in 2025.”
Musk Wants A MARTIAN Government!

“I think most likely the form of government of Mars would be a direct democracy, not representative,” he said during the Code conference in 2016. “So it would be people voting directly on issues. And I think that’s probably better because the potential for democracy is substantially diminished.”
Musk Said People Going To Mars Should Be Prepared To ‘Die’

I’m not sure if Musk himself wants to go to Mars, but he said anyone going should be prepared to die. But he also wants to create a thriving Mars existence, economy, Government and more. But the risk is high, he warns:”The first journey to Mars is going to be really very dangerous,” he said in 2016. “The risk of fatality will be high. There’s just no way around it.”
Elon Musk Believes We Are Living in A Simulation:

“There’s a billion-to-one chance we’re living in base reality,” he said in 2016. Sounding very confident, adding to this he shared.. In fact, humans should really hope we are living in some sort of simulation because things could get really ugly if not, he said.”Arguably we should hope that that’s true, because otherwise if civilization stops advancing, that may be due to some calamitous event that erases civilization,” he said in 2016. “So maybe we should be hopeful that this is a simulation, because otherwise … We are either going to create simulations indistinguishable from reality or civilization ceases to exist.”
Elon Says Humans Are ‘Already A Cyborg’

Musk said our ability to have a digital presence through email and social media gives us “superpowers” like a cyborg.”You have more power than the president of the United States had 20 years ago,” he said in 2016. “You can answer any question, you can video conference with anyone, anywhere. You can send messages to millions of people instantly. Just do incredible things.”

What’s more, though, he said we should take the whole cyborg thing even further and add a digital layer of intelligence to our brains to avoid becoming “house cats” to artificial intelligence.
Elon Believes AI Could Be Our “Biggest Existential Threat.”

“So we need to be very careful with artificial intelligence,” he said in 2014. “I’m increasingly inclined to think that there should be some regulatory oversight, maybe at the national and international level, just to make sure that we don’t do something very foolish. With artificial intelligence, we’re summoning the demon.”

Though he’s also funded a startup, Neuralink, that wants to implant chips into people’s brains to create a “brain-computer” interface. Strange huh?
Musk Has A Horrible Relationship With His Father

Elon’s father, Errol Musk has quite an awful relationship with his son, and Elon has quite a horrible relationship with him.

Elon Musk was born in a much different time and place, born in the apartheid-era South Africa in 1971, the son of Errol, who at the time was the partial owner of an emerald mine in Zambia. Musk and Errol have had a tumultuous relationship throughout his life — they’re currently estranged and don’t have much of a relationship — and it’s easy to see why.

“He was such a terrible human being,” Musk told Rolling Stone in 2017, weeping through it. “My dad will have a carefully thought-out plan of evil. He will plan evil … You have no idea about how bad. Almost every crime you can possibly think of, he has done. Almost every evil thing you could possibly think of, he has done.” Quite the statement huh? Well, it gets worse.

His father has murdered three people that broke into his home, but was acquitted on self-defense. His father also had a baby with his stepdaughter, Jana bezuidenhout, who was quite young at the time. His response was “You have to understand — I’ve been single for 20 years and I’m just a man who makes mistakes.” Interesting.
